All About JTTS
A lot of education, Peer run education specifically seems to run under those ish-culty "we're a big family" models and frankly, as a past buyer of the 'Make 250K in your first year as a photographer!!' courses, I want to encourage more fruitful brutality and honesty in our industry to promote safe and bettered practice for artist trying to find their feet.

Your Mini Artist
Let's start way back when - I'm 12 years old, I am about to go to high school and my aunt offered to buy me a gift. What did I ask for? A Camera. Why? No idea - it just felt right.
I started where most teenagers started - cringey selfies where you can't see the screen (old DSLR struggles) and an addiction to the saturation bar. And the rest is history - got invited to do some cheap backyard weddings, took my friends' photos to make them feel snatches and then... somehow I ended up where I am today?
Kidding - that has a backstory. In 2021, I had a fit at the wheel and crashed into someone, sending my former (somewhat) stabilised life with disability into chaos mode again. I opened a small candle shop from home first (The Little Siciliana), and because I was taking all my product photos, it got me thinking. "What if I became a booking photographer?" I'm not sure if that was a smart idea but I'm still here so obviously something went well (the optimist I am.)
I started my business, MiniBou (short for Mini Boudoir) back in 2021 and mainly specialised in intimate styled sessions and a few odd maternity, family and elopement sessions. Skip forward some time, lots of trial and era, practice, practice and practice later and here we are! We now have two branches, MiniBou Fotografia & MiniBou media services Far North Queensland and one day I hope, broader Australia.
I specialise in bold, emotive and moody photography in a variety of sessions and love all my beautiful clients and community. For me, photography as a business is such a whirlwind. It's a true combination of technical, creative and interpersonal skills mixed together.
My goal with JTTS is to use the skills I have as a former educator and student, currently studying to become a qualified trainer and assessor (Cert IV TAE) to the greater benefit of the photography community. In a largely unregulated space, finding safe and practical information that isn't a "make 250K like I did" can be confronting and my programs goals are to embrace those gaps and bridge them.
Thank you for coming along to the site and I hope you enjoy your browse.
And remember, emerge without fear and Just Take The Shot.
With Photo Love.

The JTTS Values
01
Accessability
Our material is designed to be accessible to English speaking persons who read, write and speak at a fluent level. However, our program material has been tailored to support learners who are new and emerging photographers (new entry - 18 months in business). We keep the themes accessible and don't assume the learner already know the information because "you opened a photography business, you should know this." It's easy to feel inflated when your years into your journey - but we all started somewhere, so that's where my discussions begin.
02
Implementation
Our programs are designed to be IMPLEMENTED. Theory knowledge is always a bonus - but for new and emerging artist, our goal is to virtually teach skills and impart knowledge that encourages physical changes and movements in policy, practice and applied knowledge.
03
Nuance & Flexibility
Having a creative media business isn't one size fits all. Different communities, cultural, social and economic differences are present in how people's businesses preform and succeed. Our programs aim to be flexible - providing the base of the topic and encouraging the learner to engage in market research and become educated on basic business skills relevant to their country and state to install best practice.
